In recent months, we have shared videos on how to improve your heart health with our incredible range of products. If you prefer to watch them, you can CLICK HERE.
In this blog post, I wanted to incorporate all this information into one article. Here it is -
EMPOWER PLUS
EMPower Plus is one of the most researched micronutrients in the world. 12 different universities have used the unique formulation of EMPower Plus to investigate its effects on disorders such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar, autism and more.
To date, we have 35 medical publications showing how EMPower Plus is a life-saving micronutrient product.
Time after time, our product has proven to help with stress management.
Stress can cause hypertension through repeated blood pressure increases and stimulation of the nervous system to produce large amounts of vasoconstricting hormones that increase blood pressure.
Factors affecting blood pressure through stress include stress in the workplace, the social environment, and emotional distress. In addition, the effect on blood pressure multiplies when a risk factor is coupled with other stress-producing factors. Some studies show that stress does not directly cause hypertension, but can have a major effect on its development.
Many non-pharmacological stress management treatments have been shown to be effective in reducing blood pressure and developing hypertension, including meditation, acupressure, biofeedback and music therapy.
But by providing the brain and body with a unique 36 ingredient micronutrient formula, your body can deal with physical stress. This means you can reduce these repeated blood pressure increases and reduce the vasoconstricting hormones.
EMPowerplus is a safe, effective, all-natural formula for common mood disorders, but also as an ability to reduce the stressors that contribute to hypertension. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE
INOSITOL
Inositol is a B vitamin and a naturally sweet nutrient. It is found in fruits and vegetables and is used by the body to provide the structural basis for the secondary messenger molecules within the cells.
Inositol has been shown to reduce anxiety disorders, promote sleep, reduce anger, treat PCOS, regulate menstruation, and even increase insulin sensitivity in people with type 2 diabetes. But how does it support people with hypertension?
There are many symptoms of hypertension, including: blurry or double vision, lightheadedness / weakness, fatigue, headache, heart palpitations, nosebleeds, shortness of breath, nausea and or vomiting.
All these symptoms have something in common: dysregulated communication. The various areas of the body affected by high blood pressure do not receive the right signals, which means miscommunication and problems.
Simply put, your cells rely on inositol to communicate with hormones and neurotransmitters such as insulin, estrogen, testosterone, melatonin, serotonin, and dopamine.
Without this molecule within the cells, hormones and neurotransmitters will never effectively communicate what changes need to take place, and disease will ensue.

BMD with K2
Mineral deficiencies are unbelievably common and cause many disease states that are often completely missed by doctors. Magnesium deficiency, for example, is often misdiagnosed because it does not appear in blood tests. Only 1 % of the body's magnesium is stored in the blood.
Your cardiovascular system requires many minerals in available forms, to function properly. I say available forms because not all mineral supplements are made efficiently, so you have to shop wisely.
The most important minerals in BMD for heart health are vitamin K2 and magnesium.
Vitamin K2 is known for its role in bone and heart health. The main reason why K2 is so important for heart health is its biochemical role in the vascular system.
Proteins containing glutamic acid bind to calcium in the cells of the arterial wall and remove it from the lining of the blood vessel.
When removed from this lining, vitamin K2 releases this calcium into the bone matrix and then cements it in place.
If you do not have vitamin K2, this important transfer cannot take place, leaving calcium in your bloodstream, increasing the risk of arterial calcification, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.
There is no easy way to test vitamin K2 levels, but it is important to know that if you have heart disease, osteoporosis or diabetes, you are likely very deficient.
Magnesium is simple to explain. Almost 50% of us lack magnesium, and that should concern us all, because it is literally used in all bodily functions. Magnesium protects us against
oxidative stress. Many antioxidants, such as glutathione, rely on magnesium to function. Without glutathione in the body, we have difficulties dealing with free radicals.
If our body struggles to deal with systemic inflammation, many systems will suffer, especially your cardiovascular system. Magnesium is also crucial for the transformation of vitamin D into its active form. I don't think I have to tell you how important vitamin D is.
What is so special about BMD?
BMD consists of 7 properly balanced bone building and hormone-balancing minerals. Calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, boron, copper and selenium.
3 vitamins necessary for absorption and proper assimilation of calcium in the body. Vitamin C, K2 and Vitamin D3.
And with our exclusive, proprietary absorption technology, we can ensure that the minerals in BMD get where they need to go.

OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT (OLE)
Experimental and clinical data have provided evidence supporting traditional beliefs about the medicinal benefits of the olive tree and its hidden ingredients. These ingredients have antioxidant, anti-tumour, anti-inflammatory, atherogenic (endothelial repair), angiogenic (blood vessel creation), hepatoprotective (liver), anti-microbial, antiviral and neuroprotective effects.
Olive leaves contain plant chemicals called polyphenols. The most abundant and powerful polyphenol in the olive leaf is oleuropein.
Oleuropein is responsible for the most therapeutic properties of olive leaf extract. Oleuropein is present throughout the plant and is strongly concentrated in the leaf.
Australian studies examined the antioxidant capacity of 55 medical herbs and found that OLE had the highest antioxidant effect among all. More than twice as much green tea and milk thistle.
OLE can benefit hypertension in many ways.
First, as an anti-inflammatory, OLE can reduce the number of inflammatory factors associated with high blood pressure.
When blood pressure is high, all structures involved are under serious strain, so when we reduce systemic inflammation, our body can reduce that strain and start healing.
OLE also acts to repair endothelial tissue. This is a single cell layer that lines all blood vessels and regulates the exchange between the bloodstream and the surrounding tissues. It goes without saying that we need this cell layer that works optimally to regulate healthy blood pressure.
Finally, OLE is angiogenic, which helps the body create new blood vessels. When blood pressure is high, smaller capillaries and vessels can break apart from high pressure. But we need these smaller vessels to function properly. When we take OLE, we give our body something that repairs these vessels to balance hypertension.

NASCENT IODINE
Iodine is a mineral essential for human life. We need adequate levels that come into the body to produce thyroid hormones, and our thyroid can then regulate the metabolic energy of the body. A pretty important job.
About 30% of the iodine we consume goes directly to the thyroid gland and is quickly eliminated. Unlike some other minerals, we do not store iodine, so we have to have a continuous supply coming into the body.
Iodine is found in every tissue in the body, and 40% of the world's population is deficient. Common deficiency symptoms include dry mouth, chronic skin infections, dry skin, excessive mucous, sensitivity to cold and stuffy sinuses.
Iodine is essential for proper thyroid function, and proper thyroid function is essential for proper metabolism.
If you are chronically deficient in iodine, your thyroid will struggle to organize the body's metabolism. In the long run, this will cause serious problems throughout the body, including metabolic syndrome.
This is a disease that includes many risk factors specific to cardiovascular disease. These factors include abdominal obesity, high blood pressure, impaired fasting glucose, high triglyceride levels and low HDL cholesterol levels.
Why are we talking about iodine, thyroid, metabolism and heart disease?
Well, your heart works hard, really hard. It constantly burns fuel in fats and carbohydrates. Since the heart relies so heavily on your metabolic ability to produce available energy, any change in your metabolism will seriously affect your heart somewhere down the line.
So back to the beginning. We need adequate amounts of iodine that consistently enter the body. Your thyroid uses this iodine for a healthy metabolic function. Then your heart can get all the fuel it needs to keep beating.
On the flip side. If you have chronic low iodine levels, your thyroid cannot produce its hormones. Your metabolic activity is a mess (this creates many symptoms), then your heart suffers because it needs constant energy from different sources to function properly. Then we are looking at damaged heart tissue, inflammation, and serious heart disease.
I hope that makes sense, because it is so important to understand. The body is remarkably connected in so many ways, and just one simple nutrient deficiency can cause serious damage.
Truehope's nascent iodine is pre-converted into the bioidentical form that the thyroid produces in healthy conditions. This is achieved only by the use of a patented electro-magnetic process that allows iodine to function much more efficiently and effectively within the body.
I highly recommend working with your doctor to test your iodine levels before supplementing. For a good doctor, this should not be a problem.

FREEMINOS
To kick things off, I will talk to you about sulfur and amino acids. Sulfur is a non-metallic element that is a critical nutrient for the body.
Most diets lack it, and farmers no longer put sulfur in the soil or animal feed. In other words, the plants and animals we eat are depleted with sulfur, which means we are.
Sulfur is an essential element for human life and combines with so many other nutrients, including amino acids.
Our most powerful antioxidant glutathione is made of sulfur-based amino acids. Without a steady supply of glutathione, free radicals cause damage, we become inflamed, and we struggle to eliminate toxins and metals.
Without these sulfur-based amino acids, we cannot produce glutathione.
Supplementation is therefore a great step.
Freeminos is a comprehensive blend of amino acids and vitamins that takes mental and physical well-being to the next level!
This blend offers 23 free form amino acids that provide your body with the building blocks of all proteins, neurotransmitters and hormones.
This includes all branch chains and essential amino acids necessary to produce antioxidants, such as glutathione.
Free-form amino acids are important. This means your body absorbs them easily in the digestive tract and makes them available to the body.
We add Vitamin C, D & E, Vitamin B1, 6, 9 & 12 to Freeminos to improve the performance of the amino acids.
To top it all off, Freeminos is made in Canada, its gluten-free, vegetarian and non-GMO. It is a real winner to improve your mood, physical performance, overall well-being and heart health.
